I want to let you know about some exciting changes taking place at Walker Creek Furniture in Essex, Ma.
Robert and Patti Hanlon, the amazing artists and founders of Walker Creek, have retired from store life in order to have more time to just be creative again. Walker Creek has been such a unique and reputable business and has many devoted fans. I’m sure you join with me in wishing them every good thing in this new chapter of their lives. We look forward to an enduring connection and seeing their continued work.
My husband and I, along with our three boys and friendly dog, Trapper, were lucky enough to fall into these big shoes and special place known as Walker Creek. Though the name will change to Rivers and Roads, some important things will stay the same. We will continue to offer custom made furniture with the same team that has worked with and learned from Robert for so many years. We hope you will still continue to think of us to create a piece for you, or your clients’ needs. While we continue that great tradition, we will be adding a variety of things to the property as well. More local artists have been added to the mainstays that have always been represented. You can expect to find unique vintage pieces and decor to make any home unique and special. Soft additions like linens, pillows and slipcovered pieces will come, as well as gifts for young and old, and garden accents in the spring. We invite you to pop in as often as you can – knowing that each time you do, you may find just the right thing.
Life is an adventure.
